Do you love reading? Cullman City Schools is using our WDYRLN reading program to build a true joy of reading in our students through art, music, discussion, and reading, reading, reading! We have just ended our first year of this program and can't wait to see what the new year holds. Schools too often focus on teaching reading but lose sight of the need to create lifelong readers who read because they love it. This program wants to give them opportunities to not just learn to read but also to share the things they read that they love. WDYRLN? Ballpoint Pens

To keep reading in front of our students throughout the day, the freshmen are getting ballpoint pens with the inscription "What Did You Read Last Night?" It just a little reminder but added to others, I hope it will impact our students reading, not just for now but for their whole life.
